The 2015 elections in Myanmar will be extremely crucial for the country’s future, particularly for the role of democracy in the country. For this reason, many democracy support organizations, especially international NGOs (including ANFREL), want to promote development of the capacities of citizen monitoring groups (essentially made up of Civil Society Organizations) and the media.
